this show is the worst. if u are paying 20% of the household costs but in total it's 95% of ur income. where as ur partner is paying 80% of the costs but it's only 40% of their income. This is not an equitable division of expenses. Focusing on the way she worded he made her move out there when she is clearly voicing she feels trapped, should have made them ask questions if it's financial abuse. I'm glad they said move but still.

I stopped listening when I heard dude say rent. I don’t even care what the actual issue is now. Dudes, if you want to start a life with a young woman, meaning potential marriage, potential kids, etc. regardless, you are sharing a life with her. She is not your roommate. She does not owe you rent. Now, if as a couple you are pooling your resources for a better life, great! Pool away. But, there’s no hierarchy. What a relationship offers is not an economically tangible reward. If it were, we’d reinstate dowries. You can’t touch the reward but, you can feel it and benefit from it. If you want a roommate, get a roommate.
