The wording of the wish was unfortunate, and basically guaranteed an unhealthy obsession, but also it wasnt Nikki. The film shows us that Nikki is being possessed by some other being, and the being itself admits that she isnt Nikki. So, really its just some entity tweaking out and trying to fulfill a fucked up wish in fucked up ways.

I think this is a dumb theory cause Sarah obviously didn’t love Bear more than wish Nikki did. Not even close so there should have been no competition unless Sarah started acting as obsessed and crazy as wish Niki in which Niki would have to step up. And even after Sarah died, Nikki continued to escalate even more obsessed which is why i think this theory doesn’t work.

The wish itself is interesting cuz originally I was gonna disagree with u but it’s grammatically ambiguous. “I wish she loves me more then anyone in the world” can mean two things 1: she loves me more than she loves anyone else & 2: she loves me more than anyone else loves me. I seen a theory leaning towards the first understanding but it really could mean both

I think the theory of Nikki going crazy because of her need to love Bear the most is correct. I think it’s partially upping from Sarah, but mostly is Nikki having to up Bear’s narcissism and love for himself instead. So as Nikki gets crazier, Bear never leaves and try’s to find loop holes to keep the “love” and that makes Nikki go even further crazy

i personally think that its not just the wish itself, but the fact that bear put his crazy obsession onto her and made a new possesed version. once that obsessed version lost the love that he was giving her, thats when it started to go crazy. and with him falling in love woth sarah, it made her have to kill sarah. theres also multiple times where she copied something because bear showed he loved it, the nature of the wish was to make her love him more then ANYTHING, including the cat, sarah, etc
