@coffeewithsimon: This Copilot Cowork prompt finds missed replies and drafts your follow-ups for you. If you manage multiple projects, trying to remember who owes you an email is a huge productivity killer. Tracking open loops manually takes up way too much time. Microsoft 365 Copilot just released Cowork (powered by Claude). I use it to run a smarter system. Every Monday morning, it automatically scans my sent folder, flags the people who haven't replied to me in 5 days, and summarizes who owes me an answer. Then, it drafts the follow-up emails for me. I just check each drafted email, review it, and hit send. Nothing slips through the cracks, and it saves me hours of admin work so I can be more productive. Microsoft 365 :
Bad news for anyone who loves sending follow-up emails. (No one. No one loves that.)

Is it true that Co-Pilot allows an employer access to everything processed through it by an employee?

So, someone automates sending emails with a summary. And you automate reading and writing a reply email. In no time, not even the person reporting will read what their AI wrote, and you won't read the summary or the reply either. There are many books that anticipate that level of mediocrity.

Can you set up a prompt where it drafts replies to any email received waiting for you to review?

Review my Sent emails from 5 business days ago and identify messages where I asked someone for something - information, a decision, a review, a meeting, or any action — and they haven't replied yet. Skip automated messages, bulk sends, FYI-only notes, and anything where a reply wasn't really expected.
For each unanswered ask:
1. Note the recipient and a brief description of what I asked for.
2. Analyze my recent Sent items to learn my writing style — tone, greeting style, sign-off, sentence length, and typical structure — then draft a short, friendly follow-up nudge in that same voice. Keep it natural and tailored, not templated.
3. If you can't confidently generate a good follow-up for an item, flag it for manual review with a one-line reason.
Compile everything into a single email and send it to me ([email protected])) as a high-importance, flagged message titled something like "Monday Follow-Up Nudges — [date)" so it stands out at the top of my inbox first thing Monday. Each item in the email should show: recipient, what I asked, the original send date, and the suggested follow-up draft formatted so I can copy-paste or forward with minimal edits. Group "ready-to-send drafts" separately from "needs manual review" items.
If there are no qualifying unanswered asks, still send a brief note confirming the check ran and nothing needed follow-up.

I work for a major bank so this is not a thing lol. AI is so locked down you can’t even access copilot without creating a service now request for AD access to get a license and everything is tracked.
