Hi! 15 year employee here! It is cheaper to buy a case! You can buy all of the stuff from the cafe and bakery also. Even the pre seasoned rotisserie chickens!

it's important to look at the price per pound. the overall price on the page is an estimate. the thighs say 1.39 on the main page and 1.31 on your receipt. so it is a savings but not as much as you think it is.

that $5 price is just an estimate. when you go in the actual store each pack can be more or less depending on how many lbs of meat is actually in the pack, so doing the math based off of that price alone doesn't really show you the savings. go by how much it is per pound per pack vs how much it is per pound per box if they're charging a different price per pound for the box

Stop looking at the individual price, all that matters is the price per pound. Buying in bulk, you are likely saving per pound.
