My husband of 1yr told me that if I "really loved him," I'd rehome my elderly dog. I rehomed HIM instead. Divorce was finalized by the end of that year and I had my sweet girl for 6 more yrs. 🥰

her dog park decided to go city residents only. I lived in an apartment. at 26 years old I bought a house specifically with a big backyard for her. now all of her dog friends that also got kicked out come over every Sunday after church to play together

I bought a new couch, not realizing my 4 babies couldn't get on the back anymore to look out the window. I felt awful and had my dad build them a shelf that sits on the top, I can put them on it to look out the window.

my mom once spent $15.k on her dog for a hip surgery and she lived for 5 more years but sadly she got hit by a car but she was pregnant with me so she was all over the place and crying like crazy

My mums dogs have there own seat in the car. She takes the Grandchildrens carseats in & out as need but shebas is always there.

I wisited every vet clinic I could find because my dog had belly ache and was pooping weird. Every vet said, that he is just sensitive. Then I drove to an another country to see a specialist. He is in fact sick and has gastroenteropathy. Now I cook this food myself and hope, that he will get well soon.

My dog is allergic to a bunch of things so i do meal prep for him every week so he doesn’t have itchy paws or ears. I dont even prep food for myself though😂. Still best desition ever

my dog couldn't see the TV in his tent *he has a child's tent he wanted it* but he was mad he couldn't watch his cartoons so I put my laptop in the tent with him so he can watch his show

My husband says “we bought a new car so Mav would have plenty of room, we bought a king bed bc when I came back from deployment he had taken my spot in the queen” but he also is the man that house hunted this year with specific things for Mav. Must have a yard for him to run and bake in. Must have friendly hood for his walks so he can make friends. Master downstairs so he doesn’t have to do stairs as he ages. We traveled with his talking buttons, memory foam bed he likes to sploot on and his own suitcase as we moved cross country. Hauled this stuff into every hotel, every 3rd night we Air Bnb for him to have a yard to unwind in😂 he lives a good life ❤️. And we have a will with specifications for him and an allotment for his care if something happens to us. He’s our baby

We were looking to purchase our first SUV. Before we even took one out for a test drive, my husband went into the back of the vehicle and got down on his hands and knees and did a full circle to make sure our dog would have enough room in the back. The showroom was packed with people. He didn’t care what people thought. 😂

If it gets too cold at night, my dog will knock (yes, knock) on my door to wake me up so I can bring her to the bed and cover her. I almost fall out bed everytime but its worth it

when mine went blind we scented everything in the house so he could find them, cinnamon for the dog door, lavendar for his beds, vanilla for toys, freesia for the sofa, jasmine the stairs. re did everything every couple of weeks so he knew where he was and where his toys were.
