my first car was a 2007 hummer h3 <33 i think it had ~90k miles on it, I got that up to 151k before we had to replace the transmission 3 times, replace the radiator, drivetrain, etc. it was a mess but god i loved that car (had it 2021-2024 while i was in college lol)

I feel you on it being frustrating/disappointing not being able to finish a job. Was replacing the starter on my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe three weeks ago when the plastic housing on the positive wire just crumbled apart. I'm a computer guy, not a car guy. While I thought I was saving money replacing my own starter ended up in me needing to tow my car to a shop for them to finish it off - $704.07 for them to to pull a wire from a car at a salvage yard because nobody sells the wire clip. Hyundai would not touch it.

I do a lot of duramax transmission lines. Usually just end up cutting them out and doing fleece engineering soft lines cause they’re a nightmare 🥴
