My Orthopedic doctor has been giving me Cortisone shots for the past 3 years and my shoulder and my knees are hurting so badly and him and his team are recommending surgery for me and I refuse it

My pain management doc has always been truthful about getting the shots. I'm fully aware that it's more bad than good. But sometimes I just need a break from pain. I only get them once or twice a year.

I had my knee done, and it lasted about 2 years, my 2nd shot last about 4 days. Then I looked into "Prolotherapy" and has been a GAME CHANGER for me!!!!!!

Had one yesterday in my knee and told the doc that basically this is just a Band-Aid that’ll make me feel better. My chances of now hurting my knee even further or much better since I won’t be feeling pain for a few months and I am very active. Definitely a money grab.

I had one in my knee years ago, I ended up sick for a week with a fever and my knee swelled for over 2 weeks, never getting one again

I just had one and only lasted 2 weeks but charged my insurance $11,000. He wanted me to get 2 more but I declined. You are telling the truth because since then I've been hurting more 😢
