I’ve found a solution just use your sheets like the thin blanket so then when it finally gets cold you wake up and place the heavy blanket on you

I put a pillow at the foot of the bed so my feet are “covered” but they don’t get hot because I SWEAR if your feet are hot your whole body hot it don’t matter
