Berserk is a dark fantasy epic created by Kentaro Miura, first published as a manga in 1989. The character designs are iconic: Guts with his giant sword Dragon Slayer, his mechanical arm cannon, and his scarred body. Several anime adaptations exist, but none fully capture the manga. The 2012-2013 Golden Age film trilogy improves some action scenes but still cuts material.
