I remember our last night as three. We dragged our beds into the lounge and had a movie night. She slept between us and before we fell asleep we had our arms wrapped around her. We cried 😭 I’m not sure why but it really did feel bitter sweet. Our then six year old became a big sister the next day. We knew due to my scheduled c section. Now we can’t imagine life without our fourth member. Our third is due in the next month 🥰

Took me several months to get over the loss and embrace the beginning. Now #2 is someone I could never imagine living without and #1 needs him too. The way things turned out, it would have actually been bad for #1 if #2 didn’t come when he did. It’s all so good in the end. They’re 8 and 12.
