A small reminder of what can go wrong in cliff diving. 🧗‍♂️💥 In this clip, a man jumps from 20 meters, completely recklessly and under the influence of alcohol, landing on his back. Luck was on his side: Ossi immediately pulled him out, otherwise it could have been fatal. Afterwards, he was coughing up blood and had bruises all along the side where he landed. 20 meters can be extremely dangerous even a small mistake can cause internal injuries like a ruptured spleen, liver, or lungs. The consequences can be immediately fatal or result in long-term severe damage. We also jump from these heights but we decide consciously when, where, and under what conditions. Never under the influence of alcohol, never unprepared. If you want to try this sport: start small, gradually increase the difficulty, and train strength and muscle. It can save your life in an emergency and cushion the impact. Even professionals have experienced fails from 20 meters injuries can happen to anyone.
