I reached a point where I was exhausted by her behavior. Despite being patient, giving her multiple chances, and hoping she would change, nothing improved. Eventually, I decided to move on and focus on my work and my life as usual. By then, I had already made up my mind and had no intention of returning. The only thing I stopped doing was paying the rent. Even then, I kept assuring the caretaker that I would settle the four months' arrears. It was only when the caretaker knocked on her door that she finally realized I had truly left. There were tears and pleas, but by that point, I could no longer tolerate the situation. As for my son, I believe that one day he will understand why I made that decision. I hope that when he is older, he will see the circumstances for what they were and find it in his heart to forgive me. its four years now am still single.
