My eldest starts secondary school this year Everytime I think about it I want to cry, he's so sweet and innocent he's beyond his years and has such an old soul. I'm so scared what it'll do to him 😭 I'm 32 I don't feel old enough to be dropping my kid off at a secondary school lol😂

My daughter starts Year 9 in September, I was an emotional mess when she left primary, I don’t know how she’s in high school though when I’m only 21 myself 🤷🏻♀️🤣🤣

i felt exactly the same!!! But my daughter started year 7 and felt the same, we both did. So we made the decision to home educate for 2 years, and she went back to school last September for year 9 and im happy to say she and I felt ready and its gone very well. year 7 came far to soon for both of us, possibly the same for you guys everyone said how mature and grown my child was /is how confident she is how much she would love etc.. the change in just a term of secondary.... told us both everything. so maybe consider it until your both ready. dont feel pressured to follow society norms if your not ready..x

been through it twice now, my oldest is 15 this year n second son is 13 this year, middle son is in year 5 n I can tell you the nerves of when your baby leaves primary school doesnt get easier with each kid 😅 well it didnt for me anyway!

My only recommendation is not to allow her to fall into the pressure of using WhatsApp and snapchat with her friends. The group chats are brutal, and I won’t be allowing my youngest on either until he’s much older
