When Love Refuses to Accept Limits Pedro was born with cerebral palsy. An IRONMAN triathlon was never supposed to be possible. 3.8 km of swimming. 180 km of cycling. 42.2 km of running. With time, support, and relentless discipline, they completed the IRONMAN 70.3 in Cascais. Then something historic happened. They became the first European duo to complete a full IRONMAN within the time limit. The fifth duo in the world to ever do it. And in 2022, in Hamburg, they set a world record, becoming the first duo outside the U.S. to finish the race. This isn’t a story about sport. It’s a story about love that refuses excuses.
