@orangepeel.outdoors: I'm a man in my mid-50s. I'm single. I don't own a house. I don't have a pile of savings in the bank. According to some people's definition of success, I'm probably not winning. But here's the thing... I wake up excited by the thought of a sunrise over the hills, a quiet woodland path, the sound of birdsong, and the freedom of being outdoors. Lately, I've been asking myself some big questions. Do I shoulder a backpack and simply start walking? Do I step away from the noise and expectations of modern life and see where the trail takes me? Or do I buy a camper van and embrace van life, waking up beside beaches, forests, and mountains instead of alarm clocks and deadlines? Truthfully, I don't know the answer yet. What I do know is that I'm no longer chasing stuff. I'm chasing experiences. Peace. Simplicity. Nature. Freedom. The feeling of being fully alive.
