To our South African brothers and sisters,
Africa is one family. In times of struggle, many African nations stood with South Africa because they believed that freedom, dignity, and equality belong to all people. The victory over apartheid was celebrated across the continent as a victory for every African.
Today, as Africans move across borders in search of work, education, and opportunity, let us remember that we are not strangers to one another. South Africans are welcomed in many African countries, and we hope that all Africans can be welcomed with the same spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood.
Challenges such as unemployment and poverty affect many nations, but violence against innocent people can never be the solution. Every life is precious. Every person deserves safety, respect, and the chance to work honestly and provide for their family.
Let us build an Africa where unity is stronger than division, where respect is stronger than hatred, and where every African can live in peace. Our future is brighter when we stand together, not when we turn against one another.
One Africa. One People. One Future.
