BULLSHIT he can't figure out an area to stretch at the gym. This reboot of his yoga/public stretching behavior immediately makes me think that, just like he thought he could recreate "the magic" that had been the sequence of events when he moved to WI, he repeats these sort of touchstone things in his life--the gym, the yoga, the naming social media as his main career, the wandering towns at dawn, the bible reading, etc., because he is so stuck in a failure rut and his OCD is really the main foundation of his life. He isn't just addicted and narcissistic. He's incapable of being any different, of doing anything different consistently, than he's done for years and years. And with everything, he barely acknowledges that he's rebooting. He often acts as if this is all new to him and to whomever is seeing it.

His drifting around, without advancing, reminds me of how he sometimes focuses on how "directionless" young people, including very specifically, his sister's kids (never ever mentions his brothers' kids--not the orphaned set that I think were two daughters and not the one down in Austin). It's pretty ridiculous for him to be further wasting time on their business when he never takes care of his own.
