I promise you WON’T look more toned just by eating less. 👇🏻✨ 👀 FIRST — save this because I wish someone had told me this YEARS ago. For YEARS, whenever I wanted to look more toned… My first thought was: “I need to eat LESS.” So I cut calories. Skipped meals. Chose the lowest-calorie option. And tried to get the scale as low as possible. And guess what? It worked. I got lighter. I got smaller. But somehow… I was STILL soft. My glutes got flatter. I had less shape. And I still didn’t have the definition I was chasing. Until I finally understood: Eating less can make you smaller. It doesn’t automatically make you TONED. “Toned” requires muscle. So I stopped asking: “How little can I eat?” And started asking: “Am I actually fueling the body I’m trying to BUILD?” I prioritized protein. I ate enough carbs to train HARD. I lifted heavy + progressively got stronger. And I gave my body enough food + recovery to actually build muscle. THAT’S when my body changed. Fuller glutes. Smaller-looking waist. More definition. Actually sculpted. But here’s what I DIDN’T do: ❌ Eat everything in sight. ❌ Go into a huge surplus. ❌ Stop caring about nutrition. ❌ Give up cardio. I simply stopped trying to starve my way into a body that required muscle. Yes, a calorie deficit can be useful when fat loss is actually the goal. But if you’re already small + soft and keep eating less without building enough muscle… You may just become a smaller version of the same body. I had to learn this with my own body first — and now, as a body recomposition coach, I’ve turned that process into the roadmap I wish someone had handed me. Start your recomp journey 🥰 🔗 in my bio #bodyrecomposition
