HR data analyst here - I think it’s important to understand excel at an intermediate level but gone are the days where you need to be advance or need to remember shortcuts, formulas etc - AI can do a lot of the heavy lifting now for this program

I don't care what AI puts out. It still needs to be checked and if you don't know what the right answer should be or what the right formula could be trusting it over your own knowledge is silly at this point

Yes .. because i understand excel well , i can spot what Ai. doing wrong , what data they process wrongly, especially especially different company , different reporting and information filtering. It also help me in developing coding for html report or forecasting simulator

KNowing excel is still important - AI doesn't always get it right, I've used regularly and always find issues with AI outputs. 😃
