oooh, I can answer that ✌🏻 yeah, the rest of the world is completely exhausted by you. we are constantly force-fed your media, your news, your internal drama, and your problems. full stop. you are too loud, too self-centered, and dangerously individualistic. EVERYTHING IS TOO MUCH. believe it or not, we know everything about belgium, france, portugal, spain, germany, and their crimes. they are still taking out leaders and leftists in africa and south america, but you guys don't even get what actual culture is. your culture is consumerism, elitism, classism, and absolutely no humanity in anything you do. you don’t even know what real food is, you live in cardboard-box houses, and yet you travel the globe criticizing everyone else's way of life. now that the rest of the world is finally united by our mutual exhaustion of you people, you cry crocodile tears. you need to pull yourselves up by your bootstraps (as you love to say) and actually fix your system. YOU NEED A TOTAL SYSTEMIC COLLAPSE AND RESET (basically a civil war). until you actually dismantle your own empire from within, the rest of the world simply cannot take you seriously.

i studied abroad in ireland in fall 2024 and i did engage in some ribbing of america with the irish friends i made but i think it was a healthy amount, like i joked about american food and our lack of public transportation, and when trump won they joked that i shouldn’t even bother going back (which is fair), but they ultimately understood that america (or at least the great lakes/midwest region where i grew up) is my home that i have a lot of love for even though our government is awful

omg yes! I fucking hate that. Just today a Norwegian was talking about a struggle unique to their country but the first comment was "im an American its the same here" I said no stop doing that

One time some Greek dude made me hate myself for a bit bc of my race and my nationality but this one Dutch person made me love myself again.

I travel extensively, but our American exceptionalism manifests in the way many of us act. It really stands out in spaces that are much more cohesive and polite. Sure most countries have issues in their history, but because of the events here since WWII, many Americans act in ways that are considered very entitled, loud and rude in other countries.
