Remember after a hurricane Elon unlocked an extra 10 or so percent. So technically there’s some part of the battery that isn’t used.

Thats why i opted for the long range awd i had a 21 performance and it was the worst decision ever! Now my 26 model y is 98% and i get 262 miles 80% around 315 100%

I drive several hundred miles a day, if I owned your car my entire life would revolved around charging, I would need at least 500 miles on a single battery

I got my 2018 model 3 brand new, now 165k miles, 8 years later and nearly daily supercharging, original battery still, my 100 percent range went from 315 miles down to 258 miles. Still going strong!!

That doesn’t sound right? Are Tesla range ratings exaggerated? I drive an ev6 GT from 100%-0% I get 180-200 miles driving an average of 80 mph. Kia estimates the car at 180 miles 100%-0%. I was going to lease a Tesla next, for the extra range, but seems like I’d be worse off. I average 2.5kwh.

Running a battery test with software from the company doing the battery test so they can void the warranty is some stupid shit. How does anyone trust this battery test 🤣

my 2024 M3P is about the same on range. I can get about 235 miles on the highway going 70-80

FYI Tesla changes their batteries I think around 2021? They used to be lithium now they are iron. The lithium’s recommend charging to 80% and the new iron batteries recommend 100% charge. I have a lithium battery and mine is perfectly healthy. I am almost positive you have the iron battery

I regret my decision on buying a Tesla because of this. Although I save money on gas the amount I have to charge vs how many miles I get doesn’t feel worth it
