correction that's capitalism. because mind you the price of cars didnt drop at all when they stopped giving spars and jacks. specifically designed to make you spend more money 1) bc statistically most likely you are just paying the same people for everything. 2) just keep your money down any way possible

This is one of the many stupid innovations like auto stop start that manufactures came up with in order to try to meet the insane café standards of the federal government. Now that those standards have been relaxed or are no longer being forced hopefully we can get back to some sanity in our automobiles

60,000 km/year for 15 years never needs a spare, as now we have tire pressure sensors and most leaks are small leaks; a blowout is most of the time due to an underpressure tire.

I just tried to get my tires rotated, key word tried. My wheels have a locking lug nut on each tire and was not given the key from the dealership!

The only time it makes sense to me is on AWD vehicles. I had a customer damage their transmission driving 40 miles on a spare in their AWD Land Rover.
