Buuut also, if you don’t have a dishwasher, the smell from glass jars goes away if you leave them in the sun for a few hours 😊

I just boil the lids with a little bit of vinegar to get rid of the pickle smell. just make sure you dry them really really well otherwise they rust

if I have labels that need to soak off, I do a mix of hot water, vinegar and dishsoap… this solution minimizes the smell from jar lids too just don’t let them soak too long or they will RUST
