Newly released footage shows dozens of onlookers running away after Malakai Ferguson-Ramson was attacked around 8.50pm, in Kilburn, on 26 May. He died at the scene, and a 21-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. A 42-year-old man was arrested for conspiracy to murder but has since been released on bail pending further enquiries. Detectives are appealing for anyone around Ashmore Road and Drayford Close, Kilburn, at the time of the stabbing to come forward. “Those captured on CCTV react in such a way that police believe they are likely to have witnessed the incident and therefore hold information that must be shared with officers,” the Met Police said in a statement. One woman told the Standard that she heard an “awful scream” soon after the incident, and before police and paramedics arrived at the scene. She added: “They were having fun and they were really laughing and then the next moment there was screaming, and I knew then something was different. It just went wrong in two minutes.”
