I used to work at Dollar General. I’ve worked at three. They’ve all had no cell service. And the Wi-Fi doesn’t work either. I think it’s just because of what the building is made out of.

So I'm not saying this is 100%the reson but concrete structure such as schools and single stand buildings since they r solid concrete they create kind of a shield preventing cell signal from reaching your phone if u go back to the door where there is a gap u should start to get signal back

DG SM of 10+ yrs. There us no blocker, DG is way too cheap for that. In stand-alone buildings with metal roofing you will lose signal away from the doors. In brick and mortal buildings like a DG plugged into a strip mall, you should actually get signal. DG just prefers to build on their own property rather than rent space in a strip mall. We joke that DG is a real estate complany disguised as retail
