That kid does NOT need to know. Keep the child away, fine, tell the child grandma is not a nice person, leave it at that. He’s dumping this on the child because he’s annoyed mil doesn’t like him. He’s acting like a child l. I would not let either my mum or my partner treat my child like that. I’d cut them both out.

That kind of honesty would save so many people heartbreak. To know you're not imagining the discrepancy, that someone else sees it, and to call it out is so incredibly validating. I'd be out of a job if we grew up with that level of respect. Maybe whilst holding space well, though.

He sees exactly what his MIL is doing!💯💯 Why doesn’t she like her SIL? That’s what I want to know. It must be pretty bad if she behaves like this toward her own grandson. And I bet the little boy looks just like his dad, too.

As a parent with two children with different fathers my eldest feels the exact same way at my youngest biological grandmothers home. It’s not sincere. I don’t agree with this Man’s antics, but I do understand taking up for the child. Protect the Baby’s ♥️

I haven’t really seen the show but in every clip the therapist seems to let the men go on and on and on and often cuts off women when they start to speak up.

I have been in that situation. My mother in law is hugely discriminatory against our kid. So we've agreed that she isn't worthy of the grandma title

He’s probably right though. I don’t think it’s JUST because the MIL and he don’t get along. He doesn’t seem need to come up with more convincing anecdotes though.
