Your squat stance determines which muscle group will be focused on more. By default, with a parallel, neutral-width stance, knees pushed forward, and upright posture, you will hit the whole quads. If you want to feel more tension in the lateral part of your quads, try narrowing your stance. For more accent put on the medial quads, go back to neutral width and rotate your feet externally. If you want to shift tension away from the quads and feel more glutes working, widen your stance by a solid amount and rotate your feet externally. This position will go easy on your knees by shifting more load to the hips, hence allowing you to work around any knee issues. #biomechanics #anatomy
