@coachbrettmac: The 5 C’s became the 6 C’s today. And honestly… I think conflict avoidance might be the one that keeps a lot of people stuck. Also, if you’ve watched more than a few of my videos, I’d genuinely love your feedback in the comments. What’s been the most helpful or what would you be interested in a deeper dive on? #m#mindsetp#personalgrowthc#communications#selfawarenesslifelessons
I like how you flipped conflict. I’m dealing with grief, never had issues with focus or feeling Stuck until I lost my person. So I’m trying to relearn who I am without him, with that comes a lot of mistakes I’ve made that require me to either stay stuck or learn from those mistakes and keep going. I’m tired for sure but I have to keep going for my kids and for me. I don’t know what the hell in doing, in all honesty. I’d love to learn about some routines that have helped you.

I told my ex I don’t run from conflict but rather seek it out. Of course that made him nervous but I have two mental health degrees so I’m well versed in navigating conflict and it doesn’t have to be a scary or challenging thing. Conflict doesn’t have to mean yelling and raised voices though I can get a stern voice when needed. It more means that you’re able to establish and reinforce boundaries comfortably. You are confident in your ability to hear the other person, process what they’ve said, and respond accordingly. Additionally addressing and resolving conflict early prevents long term anger/resentment so yes sometimes I seek it out as many wont address issues as they happen but rather form their own conclusions and judge you based upon that.

How do you avoid conflict when it’s your siblings I see the whole scenario but I’m always gonna stand up for them even though we’re all adults. They do not wanna be the bad guy’s and I don’t care.??

Haha thank you! The daughter journal sounds way more impressive than it actually is 😂 It’s really just a collection of life lessons learned through different seasons and stages of life. Honestly, “Guardrails & Warning Signs” might be a more accurate title some days 🤣 Thank you for always watching all the way through and for the encouragement. I appreciate it more than you know.

I truly do not have anything I can think of but I do want to say you are the only person that speaks on this app that I can watch the entire way through without speeding it up and I am diagnosed adhd/ocd. Whatever you are doing differently is working.

I want a video on the difference between principled and disciplined because I’ve never thought about this perspective and I think I like it.
