@compass.acres: Your garden beds should work WITH you, not against you. One of the biggest reasons I add beds around our property is to make mowing easier—not harder. Before I ever start digging, I use the mower to map out the shape and make sure it can comfortably handle every curve, corner, and angle. If your mower can’t navigate the bed easily, you’re creating extra work for yourself every single time you mow. Designing with maintenance in mind saves so much time in the long run!
