They helped pave the way for the future generation of LGBTQ people. Yet they aren’t credited enough, it makes me angry. I wish more ppl would educate themselves, especially w this documentary. It’s beautiful and tells such a captivating story.

I came out and transitioned medically at 14yrs old on my own in 1984. Community was everything to us. Especially when we all started dropping like flies. 💯 There were lots of beautiful young teen trans kids on the streets back then. I am the sole survivor of my family of dolls. ❤️
