She was traveling at an accelerated speed for longer than 4.74 seconds that’s just how long the EDR recorded. She was accelerating and could’ve stopped. She hit a top speed and could’ve stopped and she didn’t because she didn’t want to.

as someone who can’t process it that fast often, particularly when i’m overwhelmed which tends to happen in cars because of all the stimuli, i don’t drive. i can understand not stopping the car fast enough, but to not even try to press the brakes? that’s someone who, at best, made a mistake because they shouldn’t be driving.

We don't know what happened. One, why did it take 5 minutes for her to travel that road. It is like a 1/4 mile! Two, what if the black box is wrong, it's not 100% What doesn't make sense to me is if he had the gas floored you're telling me after hitting a curb, going airborn, hitting a sign, getting smacked in the head by the side airbags and "positioned herself on the floor for impact" she never took her foot off the gas? The brake was gently tapped in those 4 seconds. Ever think the brakes didn't work? There's no many what ifs....
