And getting rid of pesticides altogether actually could improve the job market so much! Hundreds of extra people per farm could be paid to walk through fields of plants and check them for pests

I live in the countryside and when I was young the farmers would get up really early to spray, when it was calm. Now we have 9 to 5 contractors that spray anytime and in the wind.

I'm of an age when I can remember insects were everywhere. We had a massive garden growing up (not posh, just end of terrace) We had a pond. Soooo much Wildlife in/around it. Birds a plenty because they were well fed. Bugs on the windscreen. Nothing like that now. Utterly heartbreaking to think how far backwards we've gone....against our own interests too, globally 💔🌍
