I’m in grad school right now to become a licensed speech therapist. A field where a master’s degree is required to get a decent start salary of 77k/year. 20k more than what I would make without my masters

I’m in grad school right now to improve my chances of getting into the banking industry because my bachelor in business administration was “too broad” My goal is remote work in investment banking or financial analysis. I completed my first semester of MBA courses with all A’s with a 3.8 gpa. Should I drop my summer classes now, and reassess my career plan?

It shouldn't be seen as an “investment”, it's should be about learning and growth, lets start here. It should not be so expensive, it should be nearly free like most other industrialized counties offer their citizens. We need an educated society; not a society where only rich kids get a college education. We don't need more billionaires, we need more people educated.

In my doctorate program- going into this with an associates, bachelors, and 2 masters I had $25k in student loans. I chose accredited programs that covered my educational needs that were affordable.

What are your thoughts on SMP for med school linkage? There’s ways to get into med school if you’re trying to crush the MCAT or showcase your GPA enhancement but taking a loan for an SMP just feels so scary
