Judge Roach swore me in for CASA, and I’ve spent a good amount of time in his courtroom. I can’t say what the outcome will be but I think Judge Roach is arguably the best judge to be presiding over this case given the circumstances. I’m sad I will be out of town during the trial for my Pre-Law summer program but I sure wanted to sit in on this one. And there are a lot of people in Collin county (speaking as a resident) who have no idea about the case and didn’t even know it happened.

I don’t think he will have a fair trial, especially in Texas. I think he will most likely get a lesser charge but definitely get time. My stepson lived jn Frisco at the time and the victim didnt have great reputation. Not that that equals death but that could give some insight on how this happened.

Couple of things the trail is being help in McKinney Texas which is the County Seat if Collin County. I am concerned about the biases in Collin County because of social media.

I hope the videos eventually get released. I don’t think he will just walk away, i think he will likely get 9-12 years the middle ground, manslaughter ..i hope he gets a fair trial.

I hate the way the Dallas Morning News is milking this trial. It’s not healthy for the families or the community. I’m praying for the KA’s family. AM’s family asked for it to not get politicized and to respect KA’s family too. It’s all so awful.
