Lol i had a client tell me the doctor told her that her dog needs a dental so she started brushing her dogs teeth and she was asking me about toothpaste…. Like girl… brushing your dogs teeth now wont reverse it 😭

I brush my doggy's teeth whenever I brush mine. He looooves his toothpaste. I conditioned him to run up to the bathroom whenever he hears me get my toothbrush out lol

Chewing on bones (genuine bones from deer, bovine, etc) will help keep their teeth healthy. My 11 year old dog has great looking teeth from spending most of her life doing it. It’s what they’re made to do and will save you $$$ not having to do those dental cleaning later on.

I brush my dog teeth day out everyday, he also gets dental chew amd chicken feet, does that help because yes his teeth is clean and cute but I noticed certain back ones start to change color but it doesn't go beyond that

We brush our dog’s teeth two to three times a week and have a dental water additive. The vet actually asked us what we do to keep their teeth looking so good.

i do think it’s wrong for a groomer to charge for this service without telling every client that it will not help towards dental health, but i mean if you told them and they still want it whatever i guess🤷🏽♀️😂

Yes if your dog already has plaque its better to go to the vet but if they dont brushing does help pls put that on the video bc its extremely misleading

I have pugs come in every week for a teeth brushing and I honestly think it is great for the pugs since I know they're prone to infection.

my dog refuses to chew on toys at all. dental bones? nope. Bones? nope not interested. and she has a little tartar buildup on her back teeth. i can brush them but good lord i wish she’d help me help her. i have a weird GSD😭

For everyone looking for tips for clean teeth I use plaque off for my Great Dane she’s 6yrs and has no plaque at all on her teeth and I don’t brush them, she hates having them brushed so She also gets duck feet and raw bones on occasion like turkey necks (frozen not cooked) etc. plaque off seems expensive when you look at it but 1 small bottle lasts my girl 2 months and she’s 150lbs. So $30 every 2 months is worth it to me then having her get dental disease which bad teeth is one of the biggest things you see in dogs

I had my dog get a deep clean because of the plaque and she had shiny whites. Now I brush them semi regularly to keep her teeth healthy and she gets her dental sticks!
