For everyone looking for tips for clean teeth I use plaque off for my Great Dane she’s 6yrs and has no plaque at all on her teeth and I don’t brush them, she hates having them brushed so She also gets duck feet and raw bones on occasion like turkey necks (frozen not cooked) etc. plaque off seems expensive when you look at it but 1 small bottle lasts my girl 2 months and she’s 150lbs. So $30 every 2 months is worth it to me then having her get dental disease which bad teeth is one of the biggest things you see in dogs

Chewing on bones (genuine bones from deer, bovine, etc) will help keep their teeth healthy. My 11 year old dog has great looking teeth from spending most of her life doing it. It’s what they’re made to do and will save you $$$ not having to do those dental cleaning later on.

It’s always so funny to me when they want us to brush their teeth. Like sure I’ll brush Bella’s rotten, plaque filled teeth. That’ll fix it right up!! Meanwhile I literally brush my dogs teeth at home every day lol

Yes if your dog already has plaque its better to go to the vet but if they dont brushing does help pls put that on the video bc its extremely misleading

i do think it’s wrong for a groomer to charge for this service without telling every client that it will not help towards dental health, but i mean if you told them and they still want it whatever i guess🤷🏽♀️😂

my dog is 10, never brushed her teeth and the vet said her teeth were nearly perfect! i think the chicken feet and other chews helped

like dog owners really seem to think its the equivalent of a human dental cleaning and not just brushing a dogs teeth maybe once a month. ofc it does nothing bc imagine if a human brushed their teeth once a month 😂

Anybody looking for good things to add to your pet’s routine for dental hygiene, visit the VOHC (veterinary oral health council) website and they have packets of varying kinds of items you can buy for both cats and dogs!

Cleaning their teeth DOES help if it’s being done FROM THE START. Once the teeth are rotten, nothing can be done, but if preventative measures have been maintained, the teeth will stay happy.

It helps their breath along with their body smell clean for one day. It’s no different than getting a human massage. One time every few weeks-months won’t help but it makes you feel good for a day! 😅 Not to mention you’re helping desensitize the dog
