just look for new speed signs when entering a new road. If no new signs then it’s a continuation of the speed you were already doing on the road you just came off

I also got taught that every road with humps is a 20mph road but since driving properly I've seen humps on 30mph road etc

Pure nonsense. If there is no signs then the street lights indicate it is a 30mph road. Dont give wrong advice. People don't. Compare street lights

That’s nonsense, is that satire? That question is for if there’s no signs in the road how do you know what the limit is and the answer if if there’s no sign then then 30by default. If it’s 20 there will be signs indicating 20. If there isn’t it’s 30

Street light indicates 30mph unless other wise sign or road marking I.e if the sign or road marking indicate 20mph you follow this else by default it’s 30mph in England (Street Light)

Doesn’t make much sense really as the road you turned into was previously a 30 they didn’t change the lights when they changed the speed limit. Lights are different as a main road and a pedestrian side road
