it's infuriating as someone attracted to goths and someone who is a goth in all but fashion (lack of funds and confidence). I'm petrified because I'm scared if I try to go deeper into the culture I'm scared to be linked to the weirdos and on the other side scared to because I'll get those "goth femboy" comments from the same people
