@team_banana_dressage_uk: ✨ Simple but effective raised pole setup ✨ Use as many poles as you like and set them up in a straight line. You can raise them or leave them on the ground depending on your horse’s needs and level of education. For my 16.2hh horse, I use 4 of my foot-length steps between each pole (I’m a UK size 5). My aim is to encourage longer steps, more lift, and better engagement. Remember, every horse is different, so don’t be afraid to adjust the spacing if your horse is struggling or finding it too easy. The setup should help them succeed, not make the exercise difficult. Repeat a few times if they’ve done a good job—there’s no need to overdo it. Quality over quantity! 😊 Let me know how you get on, and enjoy! 🐴✨ #PoleWork #HorseTraining #RaisedPoles #Equestrian #horsesoftiktok
