When I get home from work I do not even change unless I’m in restrictive clothing. I just pick up the dumbbells and start working out. Then when I am done I shower get in pajamas, do my skincare, and then have dinner. No sitting down until those are done.

“working out” was literally created to make up for the fact that we’ve made life so convenient for ourselves that we no longer need to do the survival tasks that once kept us in shape. A long time ago nobody was thinking about “getting their workout in”, they just organically did tasks throughout the day that involved movement and healthy stress on the body! As a Pilates instructor with ADHD I love this video so much. Do what you can when you can, the little things really do add up even though it doesn’t feel that way!

Sometimes I just do an at home workout in my work clothes after work bc I can’t be bothered to do more laundry and/or drive to the gym 😩 once I adopted a WORKING OUT IS NON NEGOTIABLE (yes in all caps bc it is that serious) I figure out a way to make it happen no matter what. Even it means a sweaty hiit workout in my dumb ass fine dining uniform 😭

Not me scrolling through your videos getting confirmation after confirmation that I indeed have adhd😂 I moved my dumbbells to my living room a while ago, but my issues have been keeping to an upper body and lower body split… I have now moved to full body exercises because upper body never got done and I felt guilt there🤣 and most weeks I never do any exercises. But now I can get a full body workout done and feel good about it😊🙌

I found SEVERAL body weight, no equipment, strength AND cardio videos. I removed as many roadblocks as possible so I can work out at home and not feel the need to buy matching sets. I still have yet to get started. 😅
