Beautifully said and I tautoko, support your tikanga or customs which are cultural rules. These protect ones spiritual being as well as physical being. ✨️Most indigenous cultures understand that language is the key to understanding cultures.

I get your idea, but it doesn’t work for a tourists. They want to visit and leave. They don’t want to learn the language or the culture for a week vacation once. Plus, Japanese culture is too intrusive to other cultures. Japanese love rules and making rules. And it is seriously annoying. Hence, Japan’s new bike rules are stupid. Then the new price hike on visas for no reason just make people go to other countries like Korea. A really big example is the Tokyo Olympics. Japan was so overly controlling that most people didn’t enjoy Japan at all. A few athletes even said it was the worse experience they ever had and they will never come back to Japan.
