I just think Daisy is the new June. She looks and acts like her because she’s meant to be a parallel. June is loving towards her because she knows it’s good for their cause but it still pains her to send in someone so young who reminds her of herself. Someone she knows is Hannah’s age. It’s complex in the emotional aspect. She will definitely come out as someone important but it isn’t really relevant to her arc. In the book the relevance of them being sisters was significant but again the books are extremely different and the show could not follow it due to the handmaids tale going so far in the timeline

I think June asking Daisy is super loaded. Not because she’s Nichole but because the timeline isn’t correct. The girls in Gilead can’t tell time and I think that’s going to be a big part of the story.

I completely agree and I LOVED the book and adored the plot point that it was Junes daughters together. I really struggled the first three episodes being so almost aggy that they weren’t following the books and annoyed at the show for the changes. I saw your video discussing how we should just appreciate TV for what it is and I had a complete mindset change for the following episodes and just allowed myself to really enjoy the show for what it is! And now it’s one of my favourite shows ever and I love what they’ve done 🥰
