Sloooowly injecting. Warming it in your heating pad first. I tried using ice on the spot before injecting but that did nothing. But slowly injecting helped. Then rubbing the area and sitting on the heating pad helped a lot. I’m 16 weeks pregnant with my IVF baby girl! 💖 it’s soooo worth it. Trust and believe! Good luck💖

I do mine myself.,, other than being really tired I don’t notice a difference but I am always tired so even that isn’t a huge difference. Hope you feel better soon.

I just want to add, although not applicable to the question asked. You are so strong and brave. IVF is mentally, emotionally and physically draining but the end result is what makes it hopefully worth it, don’t give up! My parents went through multiple rounds and finally did an egg donation and IVF for my brother and I to be born! Focus on the end result ❤️🫶🏼

make sure you're: - heating the PIO to body temp before injecting - relaxing your glute fully - switching to a smaller needle for injecting - using a heat pad before/after to keep the muscle warm - use lidocaine cream if needed! what exactly is it that's so painful for you? the needle itself? the oil going in?

After the injection my husband would use a massage gun on low setting and then I would lay on a heating pad. I cried every time I did the shot for the first week but it does get easier! You can do this! Hoping for a successful transfer for you!
