@larissadavisartist: I had to stretch beyond what I thought was possible. Something was moving me into the next stage of my life. But first, there were things that needed to be put right. There were broken connections to aspects of me I had buried and tried to forget. There was the lost connection to the art that wanted to be expressed. There were the limited beliefs which had taken hold of me and structured my every choice... and of course, there was fear. Big fear that governed how I evaluated everything. All of that had to go... all of those barriers and limitations needed to be shaken and broken if I was to grow. Be Unstoppable was painted during this time, but it does not hold only my wishes and dreams. Be Unstoppable is part of a greater project I created at that time, Make Your Mark. I took this canvas, white, blank, to an art event and I invited everyone to contribute by adding their big dreams to the painting before I even knew what it would become. So this painting carries the energy of so many of us, and I believe that is what makes it so powerful. If you can relate, if you are in a time of transformation, rebirthing, becoming all of you... this just might be the elephant you actually DO want in your room. DM me to make this piece yours.
