I’ve just joined the waiting list for Minted. It’s being launched in September and has been designed by an amazing lady who’s been banned several times from Vinted and she’s had enough. It will allow commercial sellers, multiple listings of the same item, hand crafted items etc and will be run by humans not AI bots. I really hope it takes off for her because Vinted is a joke and deserves to go through 🙏🏻

I was banned on Tuesday for uploading same photo someone else has uploaded and i didn't know I appealed but it was rejected I'm so frustrated because I have been making sales from vinted and I have lots of good reviews I don't know what to do.

So what I have noticed is that Vinted uses AI bots to detect certain patterns. This is what I’ve noticed which triggers it. 1. Posting to frequently even thought Vinted suggest a to list an item. 2. Listing the same type of item, you need to list a random item in between 3. If you have the same title and description it gets flagged up 4. Cannot post any custom or handmade items 5. Even as a pro seller you pretty much screwed 6. Just list 2 different items a day, just list a random item like a sock or toy.

They deleted one item today!! Was FIGS I see a lot of the same for sale and I listed one set too they deleted the item and send me a warning message that next time it happens my account will be banned 😩 I am not sure about Vinted anymore!!!

I'm in the same boat just I posted £100 of 5 days ago, first one arrived yesterday, the buyer said there was an issue, because my account is restricted vinted wouldn't lete contact the buyer vinted issued a refund to them and they didn't have to send my item back either so I lost out twice

Don't panic. Im a pro seller, over 2k 5* reviews, got restricted for 7 days commercial selling, got it back for 30 minutes, then blocked. Appealed it and I'm getting somewhere, there's been a huge glitch with bots. They're aware of this so just appeal and wait. Hopefully they get this sorted it seems they're taking this serious now they had a 24hr spree with accounts.

It’s because buyers have worked out that if they time it right they can get a refund by getting the account banned but if it’s after the item is posted they get it for free
