Any dog that shows me their belly is a heartbreaker, but Bella is a heartbreaker x10. She's an owner surrender and definitely feeling it. She was in her kennel and as all of the dogs around her were standing at the front, barking and wagging, she was on her bed with her belly up. It was SOOOOOOO CUUUUTE!!!!! As I stepped inside she showed her belly even more and wagged her tail so hard. I got close to her and she army crawled to me, letting me leash her but taking quite a while to gain the confidence to start walking. We went outside where she was such a Velcro dog. She wouldn't leave my side. I'd step back and try to take a pic of her and she'd plaster herself right back against my legs again. She's such a love. She did ok on her temp test with another playful dog, offering some nervous tail wags but was often a little too scared to get close. It all seemed like insecurity and lack of confidence to me, so if she can make it out of here I could see her opening up to dogs way more. She might be one who will need some crate training just because of how much she adores people, but all of her staff notes indicate she's been silent and perfect in her kennel.
