Just like the USSR, China is a deeply corrupt authoritarian one-party ideologically communist state with a state "capitalist" economy. China does not have a proper state nor economic ideology, it is too corrupt and rotten to the core.

Would collectivist be a more useful term? Fascism is an extremely loaded word. It risks preventing thinking about China or democracy clearly, or sometimes risks rehabilitation of historical fascist regimes
