Outgoing ppl have the same experience’s as introverted ppl, they get weird looks , misunderstood and have awkward moments. It’s just that their personality requires that they continue being social, it’s just who they are. That’s helped me realize it’s not that extroverts are better than me or more likable they just keep trying until they find connections.

I like using “excuse me, what are you drinking?” even if it’s obvious. I find that people naturally like talking about their drinks. Don’t impose your own opinion like “ugh I’d never drink vodka”, and show genuine curiosity, “is it good? what does it taste like?, is it on the menu?”

Yes!! This is me that’s why I always prefer to go to influencer events alone it forces me to make connections! I also did a solo trip two years ago in Thailand and I was so comfortable meeting people because of the years I’ve forced myself to build connections as someone who was extremely shy as a child I’m very proud of myself

I also believe that one of the most important things that isn't really talked about is your appearance and how you present yourself to the world. when you feel clean and well organized, it adds a layer of self-confidence and in addition it helps facilitate socialization because socialization begins mainly with the visual.

Something I’ve found out as a fellow introvert is that people are wanting to connect the same as you but we’re all waiting for someone else to initiate it 😂. So I’ve been more forthcoming about inviting people to do things/start conversations 💓😭
