My Mom thinks I owe her my life and I’m 50. It’s a nightmare. I have been parenting her my whole life and now I’m fully financially responsible for her and trying to get it all. The last 8 years have done me in. 😭

It's been wild being with my husband and learning how he was raised and realizing how competent his parents were/are compared to mine. It's really hard not to resent my mom, but I really try to make an effort not to.
