As someone who’s done both the bus and train commute from NJ, the bus could be worth trying! The train is more comfy but when the system breaks down it breaks down😅 There’s always traffic w the bus but it’s weirdly reliable and might not be so bad since youre going opposite rush hour. Regardless I feel you girl!

Did you ever get a laundry cart type thing? Heated mattress pad Winter doggie gear. If you have anything plastic or polyester, change them out for glass or cotton via wayfair.

I would get an insert for your fireplace. You can also get an artsy room divider to help give separation between your entry and the bedroom. I also suggest some type of curtain or divider for the loft and maybe some twinkle lights. Lastly, I would do a bigger circular rug.

New York can be tough that way. I parked my car in the city for 1.5 years. You’ll learn the blocks around your apartment and you’ll get a little system going. You’re just on a learning curve so don’t feel like your lucks down.
