@lastborn488: Dear Nigerian Leaders, We cry out to you today with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes. Please, we beg you to urgently intervene in the case of the 46 children and teachers who were abducted over two weeks ago in Oyo State. Deploy every available resource at your disposal—technology, intelligence, negotiation, dialogue, and every lawful means necessary—to secure their safe return. How long will innocent Nigerians continue to live in fear? How long will we keep waking up to stories of kidnappings, killings, and bloodshed? Must citizens continue to die one after another while those entrusted with leadership remain silent? You all swore an oath to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians. Today, we respectfully ask: What exactly are you protecting if innocent children cannot sleep safely in their own communities? Perhaps because these victims are not your children, their cries seem distant. Perhaps because these villages are not where your families reside, their pain appears invisible. But the lives of ordinary Nigerians matter just as much as the lives of the rich and powerful. Are we who cannot afford to leave the country merely destined to live in fear? Are we considered expendable? Must we be slaughtered like animals while the world watches? You may possess power today, but power is temporary. One day, offices will change hands, positions will fade, and titles will disappear. What will remain is your legacy and the judgment of history. At this point, many citizens feel that peaceful protest may be the only language left for us to speak. We have elders, pastors, bishops, imams, traditional rulers, community leaders, and respected voices who can stand together and speak for the people. We have prayed. We have fasted. We have organized crusades and vigils. Yet the cries of innocent Nigerians continue to echo across the nation. What hurts the most is the silence. Many remain quiet because the victims are not members of their own families. But tragedy does not discriminate. The pain of one family today can become the pain of an entire nation tomorrow. History will record this era. It will remember those who acted and those who remained silent while innocent lives hung in the balance. Sadly, many Nigerians are losing faith because they have not seen the urgency and decisive action this situation demands. Imagine what those children and teachers are enduring right now. Imagine their fear. Imagine their hunger. Imagine their tears. Imagine the sleepless nights of their parents. Even a two-year-old child is among those suffering. No family deserves such torment. To every leader entrusted with authority, we plead with you: act now. Bring these innocent souls home. Let your actions prove that every Nigerian life matters. And to those who have lost loved ones to this crisis, may justice prevail, and may their memories never be forgotten. Nigeria deserves better. We deserve safety. We deserve leaders who hear our cries and respond with action. Bring them home. Save lives. Act now. 💔🥹😭#alorasealordsally
